LEAGUE CITY -- Michael Fritz and Chris Sprott scored on short runs and Clear Lake limited Clear Brook to 62 yards on the way to a shutout victory in a district game.

Fritz, who put his team ahead with a one-yard keeper four minutes into the second quarter, completed nine passes for 94 yards. Sprott added a clinching score on a five-yard run with 3:48 to play, capping a 20-yard drive.

The Falcons improved their record to 5-4 overall and evened their district mark at 2-2. Clear Brook's record fell to 1-8 overall and 0-4 in district play.
