LAKE Game Highlights
1st Quarter
· Defensive Back (#3/Josh Rutkowski) had a great interception on the game’s first play from scrimmage.
2nd Quarter
· During LaPorte pass play, Defensive End #20/Ehmad Abbassi made an excellent hit on the LaPorte QB and deflected the pass such that it went incomplete!
· During LaPorte 4th down run (4th and 3), defense made an excellent stop at the 15 yard line (ball turned over on downs to Lake since LaPorte was one yard short). Defensive Tackle #63/Chris Chancey and a host of others were in on the play!
· With 00:46 remaining in 1st half and LaPorte trying to mount a last minute drive, the LaPorte QB was pressured and fumbled ball. Fumble was recovered by #3/Rutkowski at Lake 33 yard Line!!
