Clear Lake 56, Brazoswood 29
FREEPORT. Quarterback Scott Oswald ran for three touchdowns on nine carries to power No. 6 area-ranked Clear Lake past Brazoswood at Hopper Stadium.
With 166 yards rushing, Oswald surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the season with 1,048 to lead Houston rushers.
He scored on one-, 48- and 44-yard runs, all in the first half.
Brazoswood running back Josh Felder ran for 184 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown late in the game.
The teams combined for 823 rushing yards, highlighted by Oswald and Felder.
